Enable Dropping Out

Description of the problem:

Enable dropping out on Apollo I systems with no error or apparent reason.

Solution:

On a small number of Apollo I systems it has been seen that enable will occasionally drop out without an alarm or other error. At this time we do not know for sure what causes this. We think it may be related to how Mach3 and Windows interact with the control of the parallel ports.

It has been found that if you wait 10-15 minutes after powering on the control before opening Mach3 the issue can be almost completely eliminated.
